Roberto Kusterle was born in Gorizia, Italy. At the end of the 80s his interest in photography begins focusing in a research of human representation in connection with nature around it. Since 1988 he has exhibited his work in many public and private sites in Italy, Europe, the USA; he has also signed various photographic books and art videos, and has been awarded internationally. 

The images of his symbolic themes tell us about a unique time out of time, where separations between dreams, reality, people and animals melt down and rise into a form of tight cohabitation: “I aim to depicting a world that takes into account the nature which surrounds us, thus transforming vital energy into ethic tension. Thought develops free visions, which must be addressed towards an optical translation able to represent them. Photography celebrates the rite of the union between ideas and reality: it is the instant in which the conceived image takes up a concrete form, it is a reflection of a state of mind, it is the vital expression of passions and desires.”
