The “Associazione culturale Occhio!” was born with the desire to propose – mostly in Genova and Liguria area but not only – a different path of the photographic language. In fact we believe that photography is an interactive expression with other art forms and we are strongly convinced that the photography is not an isolated art in the social and cultural contest but it is an art expression which liaises with all the other arts since the origin, with productive interchanges and innovations.

The object of the association is to promote photographic expositions, trying to increase the photographic presence in Genova as a cultural opportunity in the city. We give space and visibility as testing ground and possibly to young and unknown artists; moreover we discuss on photography trough meetings which are an opportunity to go deeply trough concepts which belongs to art.
